Thrive as a young professional while still in school. Williams Academy is offering 8 students in the St. Louis Community the opportunity to gain experience in both Early Childhood Education and the Business of Marketing. This 6 month internship will challenge the interns to be creative and to thoughtful about how they approach their careers in both Education and Business.

We are looking for college Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors. Intern should be ready to share knowledge, be on camera for the company’s YouTube page, creatively work in teams building projects for the youth, and ready to activate their professional careers.

There is no minimum GPA to apply for the internship, rather we are looking for well rounded individuals with a great teamwork personality.

What to expect?

  • A fast paced work schedule that allows you to use all of your creative and critical thinking skills.

Start Date and End Date of Internship?

  • The internship begins on April 11, 2022 and will be complete on October 10, 2022

Is the Internship paid?

  • No. This internship is an experiential program that will build the skills and professional mentality of the intern.

What will my work schedule look like?

  • We are flexible with your work schedule. However, the goal is to meet twice a week at our facility. The days of the week we would like to meet are Tuesday and Thursday. Again, we are flexible and recognize that school is your number one priority.

What will I learn from this internship?

  • Interns will learn more about themselves in a professional setting. Williams Academy’s Management Team plans to train interns on becoming leaders the way they want to.

What are the projects interns will work on?

  • The first project will be to help Williams Academy establish a visual presence on Social Media. Specifically platforms like: YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Interns will create interactive learning lessons on YouTube using our principles from S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). Goal is to influence stay at home parents to learn with Williams Academy programs.

  • Interns will develop a social campaign to help less fortunate families gain education through scholarships.

  • Help to develop industry mobile application.

Will I receive a reference letter?

  • Upon completing the internship, all interns will receive a professional recommendation or reference letter as needed.

Could this internship lead to a job with Williams Academy?

  • Yes, this internship has the potential to become a real full time job in the future. Of course there are no guarantees, but their is an opportunity in the future to work with our institution.
